Deleted meal plans

Recently, when I log back into the site for the first time on a given
day, my meal plan for the week or fortnight ahead has been erased.

If I enter my meals for the week and save it then come back later in the
day, my meals are all still there but if I log out and come back the
following day everything has been erased.

I can't see that anybody else has had this problem and can't work out
why it would be happening but it is annoying and if it remains
unresolved then I can see no point in using this site at all as I cannot
create a functional plan.

Re: Deleted meal plans
We have been unable to replicate the problem; could you confirm whether
this is an ongoing problem?

We have had just one other similar problem reported which was on Tuesday
6th November and looking at the system database we can see that both you
and they have no meal plan records around that date.

This leads us to suspect that there may have been a connection issue
over the Internet, and that the system database failed to receive the
plan you saved. If you look at your subsequent meal plans, they should
therefore still appear.

Please let us know if this happens again; we will continue to monitor
this and let you know if we find anything further.

Regards, Paul

Re: Deleted meal plans
Yes, I have this problem also; I have been using ShoppingPlanner since
early 2006, and the problem has only just occurred since the beginning
of this month.

Re: Deleted meal plans
We have identified an issue whereby updates to the meal plan are
overwriting previously saved records and have now changed the way that
the system is updated in order to prevent this. We believe that this
will resolve the loss of meal plan records but please let us know if
this problem persists. Thanks for flagging the issue. Regards, Paul
