Wrongly tagged recipes
I was looking through the shared recipes to add some to my collection
and have had to go past some containing fish that are tagged as
vegetarian. As the site gets busier it will get extremely annoying (and
to be honest it is already, people who describe fish as veggie get right
on my nerves)
Is there any way around this please such as adding a category for
seafood?

Re: Wrongly tagged recipes
I have just had a spree of sharing recipes and I wondered if this
complaint might be directed at me as my daughter eats fish but is
otherwise vegetarian and I might have selected 'vegetarian' by mistake,
thinking "Oh, she'll eat that", but scanning through the vegetarian
recipes I can only see one in the vegetarian section that refers to
Mackerel and that isn't mine. If there are any posted by 'mermaid'
apologies in advance, let me know and I will re-categorise.
I do agree that it would be useful to have a seafood category.

I guess we could add 'pescetarianism' as a dietary requirement, and/ or
simply edit the fish dishes incorrectly categorised as vegetarian - any
preferences? Regards, Paul

Should we also have 'fruitarian' as a dietary requirement? Regards, Paul

What about pesco-vegetarian, might be more obvious to more people what
it means?
it means?

Hi, no it wasn't you! I've had problems logging in and haven't been able
to get on for a couple of weeks. I wasn't meaning to be rude anyway,
hope you aren't offended!
Yes, pesco-vegetarian or pescatarian or however it's spelled) sounds
fine to me as maybe things might still be double tagged as veggie and
seafood.

Any other views on this? Note also that there are currently over 4,300
recipes on ShoppingPlanner, but that only 512 have been shared by the
members. Would a different classification basis encourage more of you to
share more of your recipes? Regards, Paul

The reason I am reluctant to share some is the copyright aspect of
sharing recipes from other sites and books, not sure if it's allowable
or not?
Plus a category for baking would be good.

Re: Wrongly tagged recipes
My understanding is that recipes per se cannot be subject to copyright
but that there exists protection for publishers where reproduction of
their text and/ or photographic images is subject to copyright. If
anyone has any particular expertise in this area perhaps they could
clarify? Regards, Paul
