Magimix 5200 food processor and juicer
I've just made about half a dozen victoria sponges (for St Georges Day -
don't laugh) using various recipes but I made all of them using the
Magimix - they have all risen and look ok but I don't know about the
taste/texture yet.
This was a Christmas present and I found it very useful for my New
Year's Eve dinner party for 8 (see entry for steam oven and tenderstem
broccoli). Particularly the Lemon and almond tart with a chocolate
amaretti crust (recipe shared in planner)
Juicer attachment works fine - bit fiddly to clean but not too bad if
you do it straight away. I did make a 'lets use up what's in the fridge
juice' which was a disaster (I drank some but no-one else in the family
would touch it) - had lettuce, apples, strawberries, carrots and parsley
in it from memory!! Think I'll stick to the suggested recipes (some of
which I have posted and shared on this site) in future.
