Ingredient Quantities
Think carefully about your ingredient quantities for example, if your
meal planner includes a recipe that uses 4 ounces of ‘baked beans’,
another that uses 3 ounces of ‘baked beans’, and yet another that uses 1
each ‘tin of baked beans’, then your shopping list will suggest you buy:
198 grams (7 ounces) of ‘baked beans’ and 1 ‘tin of baked beans’
separately.
This is not wrong, but you might want to change your recipes to read
consistently for example if you change the last one to read 15 ounces
‘baked beans’ instead, then your shopping list will now suggest you buy
620 grams (22 ounces) of ‘baked beans’.
